Room airconditioners or RAC's as they are commonly known, are a simple, cost effective solution to cool small areas.
Room airconditioners are most commonly installed through a window or a wall, mounted so the faceplate and controls are inside with the comressor unit outside.
RAC's are best suited to heating and cooling smaler areas, and can be installed as a temporary or permanent fixture, such as in rental properties or motor homes. They offer heating and/or cooling, thermostatic control, adjustable fan speeds and come in a range of sizes of upto around 2HP.
